spotLights mini-series: conversations from Biologists @ 100

We’re happy to announce a special spotLights podcast mini-series, featuring conversations recorded at the Biologists @ 100 conference held in Liverpool this past March. The series is co-produced by the preLights Conference Reporter at Biologists @ 100, Jonathan Townson, and our Community Manager, Reinier Prosee.

This 8-episode series launches with an insightful interview with Richard Sever, co-founder of bioRxiv and medRxiv. In this first episode, we dive into the launch of openRxiv, the growing importance of preprints, and their impact on the biological research community—especially early-career researchers.

New episodes will air every other week, spotlighting key voices and (preprint) discussions from the centenary celebration.
