Erin Sparks, Plant & Soil Sciences.

University of Delaware

I am an Assistant Professor in Plant and Soil Sciences at the University of Delaware and the Delaware Biotechnology Institute.  My lab works on the development and function of aerial roots in plants, with a specific focus on brace roots in corn. Much of our work is focused on integrating engineering and biology to improve agriculture, but I have a general fascination with all things branched.
