Jose Guerrero

Department of Haematology, University of Cambridge

I graduated in Biochemistry by the University of Murcia and obtained my PhD on platelet function and signaling. Since then, my research has focused on the role of platelets in haemostasis and thrombosis. Because platelets contain secretory granules that store multiple molecules involved in coagulation, wound healing, among other biological processes, I have also studied the role of platelets and their granules in other areas of biology and diseases such as cancer, immunity and infection.
