I am Phd student in the Affolter lab in the Biozentrum, Basel. In my thesis project (co-directed by Markus Affolter and Isabel Guerrero), I ask long lasting questions about positional information and tissue specification using Drosophila melanogaster. Our approach to tackle these biological processes is to employ novel tools, mainly based in protein binders and CRISPR, design bona fide for our experiments. I graduated in Molecular biology in the Autonomous university of Madrid.
