Hannah Pletcher
I am a PhD candidate in the Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Structural Biology program at Washington University in St. Louis in the United States of America. I work in Dr. Natalie Niemi’s lab, where I study mitochondrial metabolism and how metabolic proteins are regulated by phosphorylation. Before coming to WashU, I completed my B.S. in Biochemistry at Purdue University. There, I worked in Dr. Wen Jiang’s lab, studying structural biology. I’m broadly interested in metabolism and biochemistry, and I look forward to practicing science communication as a part of the preLights community.
