I’m Inês, a Portuguese PhD-trained scientist. During my PhD studies, I was focused on cell reprogramming and immunology, exploring reprogramming strategies to induce immune cell fates in alternative cell types for cancer immunotherapy. My fields of interest include immunology and advanced cell therapies, as well as developmental biology, particularly the mechanisms underlying cell fate decisions and lineage commitment. Throughout my academic journey, I have also become an advocate for science communication, outreach, and innovation.
