Kanishka Parashar

University of Lausanne

I am a PhD student at the University of Lausanne (UNIL), Switzerland, where I study the non-canonical roles of Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 4 (CDK4), with a particular focus on their involvement in cytoskeleton remodeling and cell migration in triple-negative breast cancer cells. More broadly, my research interests lie in cell biology, including cell migration, invasion, division, cytoskeleton dynamics, and biophysics. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute as a preLighter and look forward to further developing my science communication skills as part of the preLights community.
