I am currently a Postdoc at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. After completing my PhD in cancer metastasis and transendothelial migration at the University of Leeds, UK, I moved to Sweden where my current work focuses on endothelial cells of the vascular system. I am particularly interested in how mechanical forces such as shear flow, stretching and matrix stiffness are sensed by endothelial cells and impact their function in health and disease. I have a broad interest in microscopy, epigenetics, chromatin and nuclear mechanics.
