My research background spans structural biology and biophysics, from vesicle trafficking to nuclear mechanics. I completed a First Class MBio in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick, where I studied clathrin-coated vesicle purification under Dr Corinne Smith, before spending two years as a PhD student registered at King’s College London, based at the Francis Crick Institute, researching force transmission across the nuclear envelope.
I now write for preLights and am focusing on science communication, with a particular interest in biophysics and protein interactions.
