In pursuit of my passion for stem cell biology, I travelled from home in Malaysia to study biomedical sciences. In 2017, I completed my BSc in Medical Sciences (Hons I) at the University of Edinburgh. Subsequently, I completed my MRes as part of the Wellcome Trust Stem Cell Biology and Medicine programme at the University of Cambridge.
Now, I am a graduate student based in the Sinha lab at the University of Cambridge, currently focussed on understanding genetic diseases using induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). In particular, I am studying Marfan syndrome.
