We are the Evolutionary Morphology and Biomechanics group at the University of Liverpool (EMB Lab). Our lab (members) largely focuses on musculoskeletal function at the whole-body level across humans and animals. Our lab uses a broad spectrum of approaches (Gait Kinematics and Electromyography, X-ray Reconstruction of Moving Morphology, 3D Digitisation and Hill-Type Musculoskeletal Modelling and Finite Element Analysis) to explore a broad range of biomechanical areas.
