I’m a first-going-on-second year PhD student based in the Whitehouse group of the University of Leeds. My project is entirely computational and focusses on using transcriptomics to understand the significance of alterations to gene regulatory networks during reactivation of the oncogenic Kaposi’s Sarcoma-Associated Herpesvirus (KSHV) from it’s latent to lytic life-cycles. I have a BSc and Masters (MBiol) in microbiology, and have previously worked on transcriptomics and the RNA degradosome in E. coli.
