I am a biophysicist currently working at the UCL LMCB in the labs of Yanlan Mao and Buzz Baum. I am interested in understanding the interplay between mechanical forces and molecular processes across biological scales. To this end, I am using the Drosophila wing disc as a model system to reveal how developmental programs respond to and buffer mechanical stresses.

I completed my PhD at EMBL Heidelberg in 2018, where I worked with Edward Lemke on the transport of large cargoes through the nuclear pore complex in cells and using in vitro models of the permeability barrier.
