I am currently a postdoctoral scholar in the lab of Jennifer A. Doudna at UC Berkeley. My current research focus is to discover novel mechanisms of regulating CRISPR-Cas systems. Previously, I got my Ph.D in Dr. Vishy Iyer’s lab at UT Austin where I studied non-coding RNA and epigenetic mechanisms involved in Glioblastoma using Next-generation sequencing based technologies. My research interests include gene regulatory mechanisms involved in host-pathogen interactions, Genome engineering technologies and Mobile genetic elements.
