Nadia Edelsztein

My name is Nadia Edelsztein. I am a Biologist from Argentina doing a postdoc at COS Heidelberg in the Developmental Biology lab, led by Prof. Dr. Ingrid Lohmann. I got my PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires early in 2019. While I originally focused on mammalian Reproduction and Endocrinology -both during my undergraduate studies and PhD-, nowadays I have shifted towards stem cell regulation and maintenance in Drosophila…but always within the testis, my one and only! Hopefully I will go from an “Of mice and men” scientist, to a “Lady of the flies” one, while unraveling the many mysteries of germline and somatic stem cells 😊
