I’m a postdoctoral researcher working in microbial ecology in the Laboratory of Microbiology of the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. I’m interested in host-microbes and bacterial-fungal interactions and especially in the biocontrol of human fungal pathogens, such as Aspergillus spp., infecting the lungs, by using bacteria. I did my master thesis in the same lab on the role of endospore-formation as a survival strategy in volcanic craters on Nisyros island (Greece). My interests go from environmental microbial ecology to host-microbes interaction.
