Parna Saha

I am a molecular biologist working as a postdoctoral fellow at UCSF, where I study the mechanisms of lncRNA mediated regulation in neurodevelopmental processes. My doctoral work at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, India focused on understanding how some genes are actively expressed from the constitutive heterochromatin.

My broad interests include understanding the intricacies of transcriptional regulation mediated by the non-coding RNAs, epigenomic/transcriptomic factors, and 3D genome architecture in development and disease contexts.

I am passionate about science communication and outreach.
