Rickson Ribeiro
Bachelor (BSc.) in Biological Sciences, from Centro Universitário Serra dos Órgãos (UNIFESO) (2017-2020). He was a CNPq fellow, with experience in reforestation and environmental education projects (2018-2020) and a PICPq-UNIFESO fellow, with research related to Photobiology (2020-2021). He was student representative and president of the academic directory of the biological sciences course, as well as a member of the board of the Health Sciences Center (CCS) at UNIFESO (2018-2020). Master (MSc.) in Biosciences (2021-2023) from the Postgraduate Program in Biosciences (PPGB) (CAPES – Concept 6) in the Cancer Biology and Photobiology laboratory of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) as a researcher FAPERJ scholarship holder, with a research project focused on the effects of radiation emitted by low-power lasers and LEDs on cell survival, DNA repair and expression of genes from the photolyase/cryptochrome family (2021- 2023). PhD student in Biological Chemistry (2024-current) from the Postgraduate Program in Biological Chemistry (CAPES – Concept 7) from the Leopoldo de Meis Medical Biochemistry Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IBqM-UFRJ) at Laboratory of the Protein Thermodynamics Virais Gregorio Weber (LTPV) as a CAPES scholarship researcher with a research project focused on the effects of radiation emitted by an infrared laser on the aggregation of proteins associated with neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. Private teacher in the area of #8203;#8203;Biology and Biomedicine, with emphasis on secondary and higher education (2021-Current). He has experience in the areas of science, biology, botany, biophysics, microbiology, molecular biology and eukaryotic cell cultivation.
