I am a BBSRC-DTP PhD student at the School of Biological Sciences, Royal Holloway, University of London. The central aim of my research project is to understand how organ growth is tuned to match nutrient availability. Although I work on a plant-based model system, namely the Arabidopsis root meristem, the outcome of my project addresses long-standing fundamental questions in cell biology such as how cell cycle and cell growth are co-regulated and intertwined. My other research interests include circadian clock, DNA damage response, and endoreduplication.
