I held a degree in Biological Sciences: Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Currently, I’m a PhD candidate in Sciences (Microbiology) at UFRJ and have a master’s degree from the same program, with a FAPERJ Grade 10 scholarship. Member of the Cellular Immunology (LIC) and Oral Microbiology (LMO) Laboratories of the Paulo de Góes Institute of Microbiology (IMPG). I was a substitute professor of microbiology and metabolism at the Duque de Caxias Campus of UFRJ, where I worked as director of the Academic Center and served as a student representative in various university instances. I am an associate member of the Brazilian Society of Immunology (SBI) and the Society for Mucosal Immunology (SMI). Have experience in microbiology and immunology, working mainly on the following topics: mucosal immunity, oral microbiology, experimental periodontitis, and the oro-intestinal axis.
