I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Cell and Tissue Biology at the University of California, San Francisco, in the lab of Dr. Stephen Floor. I am currently studying various aspects of translational regulation under stress. Before this, I got my Ph.D. in the lab of Dr. Tracy Johnson from the Department of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where I studied mechanisms underlying, and consequences of, alternative splicing in the budding yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
