Barbora Knotkova
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the biochemistry centre of the University of Heidelberg, Germany. I am interested in cellular organisation: how proteins are targeted to the right place in the cell, how different compartments are created and especially how all of this is achieved on a molecular level. In my PhD I use biochemical methods to decipher the role of membrane contact sites in shaping the inner membrane of mitochondria. I have joined preLights in December 2022.
