Hello!
My name is Felipe Del Valle. I am a biologist from Chile, and I began my scientific journey studying B cell biology, specifically the formation of the immune synapse. During my PhD, I explored the mechanosensing of B cells and how mechanical cues shape the process of antigen capture and presentation, particularly focusing on how lysosomes respond to changes in the environment. I now focus on neurobiology, specifically, working on local translation of proteins at the synapse.
I love microscopy and image analysis, so I aim to incorporate these as much as possible into my preLights and future work.
